4th ICEHHA Officially Declared: Sustainable Innovation for a Global Future

The event was cordially declared by the Rector of Unika St. Paulus Ruteng, Dr. Agustinus Manfred Habur, Lic. Theol., who delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration to address increasingly complex global challenges.

This year’s conference carries the overarching theme, “Sustainable Innovation for Global Future: Bridging Education, Humanities, Health, Agriculture, and Engineering.”

Dr. Manfred noted that this theme serves not only as a focal point for discussion but also as a call to action that transcends traditional boundaries.

“The world is currently facing interconnected challenges—climate change, social inequality, food crises, and global health issues. These challenges can only be addressed if we dare to build bridges of knowledge and shared human values,” he stated.

Five keynote speakers from three countries are participating, bringing expertise across diverse fields: Prof. Dr. Yazid Basthomi, M.A. (Indonesia): Expert in education development and humanities studies. Prof. Ir. Sahat Martua Pasaribu, M.Eng., Ph.D. (Indonesia): Specialist in technological innovation for sustainability. Dr. Willy Ardian Renandya (Singapore): Expert in cross-cultural education and language learning development. Asst. Prof. Dr. Prapaporn Muangkoon (Thailand): Researcher in sustainability in health and society. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rozana Zakaria (Malaysia): Leader in sustainable agriculture innovation.
